The Jacksonville Jaguars played their sloppiest game of the season and still won. The offense was putrid, special teams had its miscues and missed opportunities, and the defense was the only reason this game was even close.
Against the Cleveland Browns.
Who stood out today? Let’s get to it:
1. Blake Bortles
He stood out but in the worst way possible. Bailed out again by the defense making otherworldly plays, Bortles was the biggest reason the Browns even kept it close throughout the entire game. And before you start, stop with the excuses — his offensive line was hurt, the refs missed calls, blah blah blah. You’re enabling our team to keep this quarterback.

2. Yannick Ngakoue
The player of the gotdamn game. 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles (including the one that led to the game-sealing defensive touchdown), and several pressures. He has 9.0 sacks on the year — and there are six games left!
3. Leonard Fournette
On a bum ankle, in the cold, and against a decent Browns run defense Fournette still managed over 110 yards and a 4.0 average today. I can’t imagine if he
4. Dede Westbrook
Three catches on six targets and 11.7 yards per reception. Not as flashy as he would have liked (what performance under 200 yards would have been?) but he showed he can flash the intermediate and deep threat they saw in the preseason.
5. Telvin Smith
Inconsistent today in tackling — involved in several busted coverages or missed tackles — but he was still responsible for five tackles, a pass defended, an interception, and the game-sealing touchdown.

6. Malik Jackson
One sack, two tackles for a loss, and a hit on DeShone Kizer apart from his sack. He played one of his best, if not best, game of the season. He and Marcell Dareus are a big reason the Browns managed 50 yards on the ground today.
