Dubious EPL Goal Panel Cancels Assist Incorrectly Awarded To Victor Moses In Chelsea’s Game Against Burnley

Victor Moses cross to Pedro Rodriguez which was converted by the Spaniard to give Chelsea the lead against Burnley has been taken away from his Assist tally for the season.

The flying wingback has been one of the most consistent performers for league leaders Chelsea, with many crediting him as part of the reason why the Blues are favourite to land the Premier League crown.

However another statistics that would have further explained his progression at Chelsea this season has been taken away from him by the dubious goal panel of the English Premier League.

Moses’s ball deflected off a Burnley defender before reaching Pedro, and that deflection has been ruled to be sufficient enough to take the assist away from the Nigerian.

That means he now has one assist in the year 2017 not two as recorded against his name after the 1-1 draw against Burnley last week in the English Premier League.
