3SC won’t fail NPFL test

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) head coach, Fatai Amoo has described as decent his side’s preseason preparations for the upcoming Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

The Oluyole Warriors are due to relocate to their base in Ibadan on Thursday after weeks in Ijebu Ode putting finishing touches for the top-flight.

Amoo said his side are determined to give value for the investment in them by the management for the coming season.

“We must thank and appreciate the management of 3SC despite their financial challenges they were still able to give us good platform to prepare for the upcoming season.

“We will not disappoint but give value for every dime spent on us for the football season.

“We are determined to chalk up good performance in the top-flight not that we will beat everybody but work hard to justify the investment.

“We are ready for the season as we have been able to achieve decent preparations for a good campaign.

“We will head back to our base, Ibadan today (Thursday) to finalise the match plan for the kick-off of the season.

“The task before us is quite daunting but not insurmountable we will continue to work hard aimed at churning out good results.

“Our first day match opponents, Lobi Stars are good side with quality players who can cause heartache to unsuspecting foes.

“We watched the side in Ijebu Ode during the Gold Cup competition we are going to give good account of ourselves to emerge victorious at the end of the day,” said the former Nigerian and Sunshine Stars coach to supersport.com.

The Ibadan landlords will host the Pride of Benue in Sunday’s NPFL matchday 1 clash at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.
