Barcelona are on a right track to retaining their La Liga crown half way through the season as the Entire team have out in a good performance so far.

The Catalans beat Eibar 3-0 at the Camp Nou on Sunday night, a win that is their sixth in the row in LaLiga.

Even more impressive is the fact that they have conceded just once across those six games, overcoming their defensive worries early on in the season.

The happiest man on the field yesterday as a result of the cleansheet was Marc-Andre ter Setegn.

Speaking after the game, the German explained that the way they were leaking goals at the back had made the entire squad angry.

Since their 2-0 win against Villarreal, Ter Stegen is happy with how things are now a lot tighter at the back.

He said: “We were all angry (with the many goals we conceded).”

“But it was what it was.”

“We have recovered the defensive strength we were looking for to win games because if we’re good at the back, we know the quality we have further forward.”

“The most important thing is defending to a high level.”

“We can fight for everything from that.

“[Clement Lenglet] has given us a lot of security in defence and you could see that today.

“His presence provides stability.

“But we’re also counting on [Samuel] Umtiti, who’ll be back soon.”
