Pep Guardiola sets new Premier League record with Manchester City

Pep Guardiola has drilled in his philosophy into his Manchester City players who looked unstoppable in their domestic Premier League campaign.

After a disappointing first season in charge, Guardiola made sure he was ending his second season with a title.

Man City sealed the league title with as many as five matches left to play for. And on Sunday they simply strolled over Swansea City in a 5-0 victory.

The players, fans and club officials all enjoyed the game and even more special for them is the fact that they have smashed a 14-year Premier League Record.

Guardiola’s men completed a mind-blowing 943 passes during the match, with an accuracy of 92.3 percent. And it is the first time since 2003-4 that a team have managed so many completed passe.

In addition, they also enjoyed 83% of the possession and left the Swans with just 202 passes.
