Admittedly there hasn’t been much reasons for Yerry Mina to celebrate since he joined Barcelona from Palmeiras in the winter transfer window.
The Colombian international is seriously struggling for game time as Ernesto Valverde has opted to stick with the more familiar pairing of Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti.
Mina played some part in Barcelona’s Copa del Rey campaign when he came on a substitute for Pique in the semi-final match against Valencia.
And that appearance earned him the right to receive a Cup medal on Saturday.
The victory for Barcelona meant Mina becomes the third Colombian to lift the trophy,
He follows the likes of Harold Lozano and Radamel Falcao who won it with Mallorca and Atletico Madrid respectively.
With the league title almost wrapped up, the center-back would be hoping to get a good run in the remaining games of the season.
