Barcelona sets price for one of their most experienced players

There has been no confirmed deal yet at the Camp Nou for either players leaving or those coming in.

But the constant rumors of exits and arrivals have been sweeping the news stream.

One player that has been linked with an exit is Arda Turan. He arrived the Camp Nou in 2015 from Atletico Madrid during which time Barcelona were under a FIFA ban.

After waiting for months, he finally made his debut in January 2016, but hasn’t really cemented his place in the team.

The Turkish player is among the most Experienced Players in the team and Barcelona are prepared to let go.

Turan was originally set for a January exit, but he remained and finished the season with Barcelona. And the club feels now is the time for him to move on, even though he would have preferred to stay.

Turkish site Fanatik report that Barcelona wants at least €65 million for the midfielder. Considering the player is already 30-years-old, that fee seems really ridiculous for any team to meet.

Arsenal have been linked with a move for the player. But the Gunners are not even considerng paying that much for him.

A more reasonable fee of 25 to 30 million euros is what Arsenal are prepared to pay. Turkish club Besiktas are another team that have been linked with Turan.

Turan scored 13 goals in all competitions last season and is expected back for preseason training on July 12.
