Marco Verratti looks increasinglt likely to leave Paris Saint Germain after the recent rounds of meeting. Newly appointed PSG sporting director Antero Henrique has a battle on his hands as he tries to fight off interest.
The Ligue 1 club have said the 24-year-old is not for sale at any price. But despite their tough talk, his agent Donato Di Campli has insisted he was leaving.
“Marco to Barcelona? We’ve let all our thoughts be known to PSG, it’s a hard deal to get done,” Di Campli told Sky Sport‘s Calciomercato – L’Originale
“I am trying to wield a champion, I ask those questions, and I pull on many threads. Anyone else in my position would do the same. You need to win to be a champion.
“If PSG doesn’t wish to sell him despite the offers all around Europe, we then must take a look at ourselves.”
Likely to head to Barcelona
When asked about a return to Italy, Di Campli said: “The clubs there don’t have enough money.”
Reports say Barcelona are going to offer more than 80 million euros.
