It is not every day you see current or former Real Madrid or Barcelona player talking positively about the other team. Such is the rivalry between these two, that even a transfer is almost impossible.

But over the last weeks, there has been rumors and such rumors are growing louder.

It all started after February 14th when Barcelona played Paris Saint Germain at the Camp Nou. And on fire that night was Angel Di Maria who scored a brace against Barcelona.

Reports later emerged saying Lionel Messi wanted Di Maria at the Camp Nou.

Angel Di Maria wants to join Barcelona next season

The reports were hard to believe considering PSG superstar played for arch rivals Real Madrid between 2010 and 2014.

However, French outlet Le 10 Sport has confirmed the story about a possible transfer to Barcelona. And they even go further to say Barcelona are seriously considering an approach.

Di Maria is interested in the move and wants to play alongside Lionel Mesis who he admires. Barcelona are impressed with his performances, particularly against them.

However, considering his history with Real Madrid, the winger is likely to become a hated figure at the Bernabeu.
