There are very few players out there who can say no to a club like Real Madrid. Los Blancos have been known to spare no expense when it comes to strengthening the team.
And one position they would be in the market for is a new goalkeeper. Zinedine Zidane has Keylor Navas and Kiko Casilla at his disposal.
But since returning from injury, questions have been asked about Navas’ future at the Bernabeu. His blunder last Sunday against Real Betis scared many and left majority doubting his future.
For now, Navas remains number one while Kiko Casilla has been taking the back seat.
Real Madrid wants Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois next summer
Despite constant denials, Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois is a top priority for Real Madrid. It is understood Real Madrid are now looking at the possibility of signing the Belgian after failing for De Gea in 2015.
There still remains some interest in bringing back the Manchester United man, but their first approach would be Courtois according to Spanish sources.
However, the Blues are prepared to fight to keep their goalkeeper. They showed how highly they valued when they allowed Petr Cech leave for Arsenal so he would be number one.
Navas has managed only five clean sheets this season, conceding 34 goals so far. And in contrast Corutois has kept 14 clean sheets.
