Atletico Madrid hosted Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night in the Champions League.
The Spanish team entered the game knowing their had put one leg into the quarter-finals after the winning the first leg.
But the Germans were determined not to go down without a fight. The match finished 0-0 at the Vincente Calderon sending Atletico through to the last 8 of the competition.
However, a moment of magic happened in the 67th minute of the game. Leverkusen were denied a goalscoring opportunity no thanks to the heroics on Jan Oblak.
The 24-year-old pulled off an Incredible Triple save to keep the game at 0-0.
And after the game, the Slovenian admitted: ‘I don’t know. It was going very quickly. Sometimes you defend three and the ball doesn’t go in. I’m happy for that.’
His teammate Antoine Griezmann also heaped praises on him adding: “He is the best goalkeeper in the world.”
“He shows that in every match and he did so today as well.”
