The NFL Mock Draft Database lists 103 NFL mock drafts. The Database is now updated multiple times per week and includes the latest NFL mock drafts from various sources, ranging from media, to NFL Draft blogs, to team fan sites.
To give you an glimpse of where the mock drafts are projecting the top 7 picks, we crunched together the 40 most recent mock drafts, all updated between the dates of 2/9/2015 to 2/13/2015. Here are the current projections leaders:
1st Pick: Tennessee Titans
The Pick Leader: OT Laremy Tunsil, Ole Miss
The overwhelming consensus top pick in the NFL Draft is an offensive tackle. Given the mess on the Tennessee offensive line, the projection is not a surprise.. Tunsil is highly regarded as the best Tackle in the 2016 NFL Draft. Of the 40 most recent mock drafts, 83% project Tunsil to the Titans. Tunsil could add size, but he is an excellent blocker and should be an immediate help. We’ve seen him compared to Redskins LT Trent Williams. If that is the case, the Titans will grab a good one.
2nd Pick: Cleveland Browns
The Pick Leader: QB Jared Goff
Pretty obvious here that Cleveland will likely go for a franchise quarterback. They struck out horrible on Johnny Manziel, who will be lucky to play in the NFL again. Cleveland will look to move not just the offense on, but its fan base as well, after a disastrous, short lived Manziel era. 53% of the 40 most recent mock drafts projected Goff to the Browns. 93% of mocks projected a quarterback to the Browns, with Carson Wentz (13 mocks) and Paxton Lynch (3 mocks) also getting projections. Goff, out of Cal, threw 43 TD passes this season compared to just 13 picks and completed 64.3% of his passes. He needed the season with an 82.2 quarterback rating.
3rd Pick: San Diego Chargers
The Pick Leader: DE Joey Bosa
San Diego needs to bolster its defense. 53% of the most recent mocks project they will do so by selecting Ohio State DE Joey Bosa. Bosa is regarded by several draft experts to be the overall best play in this draft class. Over three seasons with the Buckeyes, Bosa racked up 26 sacks and 51 tackles for loss. he has stud written all over him. In 2015, he recorded 6 sacks and 16 tackles for loss. Some mocks are projecting the Charger to go offensive lien and nab OT Ronnie Stanley.
4th Pick: Dallas Cowboys
The Pick Leader: LB Myles Jack
This could have very well be evenly split. Jack got one more projection than DB Jalen Ramsey. I could also see Dallas looking into the future here and grabbing Wentz or Goff, if available. The only down side of Jack is he missed most of 2015 with a torn ACL. Dallas could certainly use secondary help and if Ramsey is there, they may not be able to pass him up.
5th Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars
The Pick Leader: DB Jalen Ramsey
Jacksonville may have a hard time passing up talented secondary help. 28% of the mocks project Ramsey to the Jags, That is possible if he gets by Dallas. 21 of the 40 most recent mocks have the Jags going secondary, with other projections landing DeForest Buckner (4) and CB Vernon Hargreaves (6). The Jags pick here may very well depend on who goes to Dallas.
6th Pick: Baltimore Ravens
The Pick Leader: OT Ronnie Stanley
The Ravens could stack up on offensive line to protect QB Joe Flacco. 38% of the mock drafts project OT Ronnie Stanley to Baltimore. The Ravens could go secondary here as well, especially if Stanley goes in the top five. Vernon Hargreaves was a popular projection here as well.
