With Philippe Coutinho having suffered a foot injury in the 2-0 defeat of Sunderland on Saturday, the chance has now come for some fringe players in the Liverpool squad for the League Cup game against Leeds on Tuesday evening at Anfield.

Divock Origi showed his undoubted class with his 76th minute goal against Sunderland when it seemed like a goal would never come.
That we did defeat a Sunderland team who unashamedly "parked the bus" against Liverpool was a welcome relief to every Liverpool supporter.

With outright second place achieved on goal difference over Man City thoughts now turn to the EFL Cup game against Leeds on Tuesday evening.

Changes will be made by  Jurgen Klopp, especially with the injuries to Coutinho, Firmino and maybe a rest for Mané who is beginning to look tired lately in games.

One hidden gem in the Liverpool Squad is Marco Grujic. The former Red Star Belgrade midfielder has had to take a back-seat since he joined Liverpool at the start of this Season.

But surely now is the time to give the young Serbian a chance in the Liverpool midfield as his attacking play and ability to score goals could be vital as Liverpool's challenge for this trophy gets serious once again.
Its hard to believe that the guy has not played more games since he arrived at Anfield this year having played a starring role for Red Star last Season.

He has already scored for Liverpool in The Champions Cup where we beat Barcelona 4-0 in pre-season.
