Welcome to Effitville, Broncos Country!

Broncos Country is like Chevy Chase in “European Vacation” when he and the family gets trapped in the roundabout. “Oh, everyone, did you see we’re in Effitville?”

Good morning, Broncos Country!

If you didn’t see the sign just now, we have, indeed, entered Effitville.

Again.

For the fourth time in four seasons when it comes to the Denver Broncos.

As Adam Malnati and I joked on the MHR Radio Podcast, Broncos Country is like Chevy Chase in “European Vacation” when he and the family gets trapped in the roundabout. “Oh, everyone, did you see we’re in Effitville?”

At this point, what is left to say?

Everyone has said it the last four seasons.

The frustration is palpable.

If it didn’t hurt so much, it would be hilarious.

In fact, it is laughable.

The aspect that bothers me the most is that I just don’t care anymore because the organization doesn’t care. This is four years of this shit.

Somehow, the Broncos have morphed into the Colorado Rockies. I keep waiting for Joe Ellis to announce he’s adding a Rooftop Bar to Empower Invesco Sports Authority Field at Mile High any day now.

“The product on the field sucks, but come for the experience.”

As you can tell, I’m jaded, too.

This is what happens when you enter Effitville.

Again.

All we can do now is roll up the windows, lock the doors, and get through it.

Broncos Blast

Each Saturday, I do a segment on Denver radio station ESPN 1600 AM. This week, the guys try to find a reason why the Broncos coaching staff doesn’t use Phillip Lindsay. Ian also gives his analysis of the young QBs, the game, and gives his prediction.
