Well the Denver Broncos did have a lead after the first quarter, but the Cincinnati Bengals took it back heading into the second half.

The Cincinnati Bengals finally got their first third down conversion on their next drive, following by a huge pass from Andy Dalton to Brandon LaFell for a 25-Yard gain.

Two plays later on third and three, Dalton hit Alex Erickson who burned Bradley Roby down the sideline for an easy touchdown reception to give the lead back to the Bengals.

Bengals 13, Broncos 7.

The Broncos offense responded with a third and eight conversion on a throw outside from Brock Osweiler to Emmanuel Sanders for a first down.

A short run from C.J. Anderson setup a good first down pass from Osweiler to Virgil Green who dropped it. On third and nine, an attempted screen was botched from the beginning for an incompletion and a punt.

The Broncos defense finally got themselves some pressure from a player not named Von Miller with an inside bull rush from Derek Wolfe for a sack to force a three and out on the Bengals next drive.

Von Miller created the pressure that pushed Andy Dalton into Wolfe on the sack.

After an incompletion to Austin Traylor on first down, Devontae Booker took a handoff for eight yards on second down. On third and two, Osweiler with five wide, threw across the middle to Booker for the first down.

Booker was hit in the backfield for a four-yard loss on the next play and Osweiler sacked by Carlos Dunlap on second down to setup a third and forever down for the Broncos. On third and 19, Osweiler hit Anderson underneath for a nice gain but well short of the first down marker.

After an excellent punt from Riley Dixon, the Bengals were backed up to their own eight yard line. A five-yard gain from Joe Mixon was following by an inside pitch from Dalton that Domata Peko blew up for no gain. On third and five, Dalton tried to throw it outside to Mixon who was chased down by Brandon Marshall for a short gain and a fourth down.

A bit of a shank of a punt set the Broncos up with excellent field position at the Bengals 48-yard line.

Anderson ran for five yards on first down, but lost a yard on second. On third and six, Osweiler took the sack to force the punt.

From their own 12 yard line, Dalton hit A.J. Green at the 25-yard line with Aqib Talib nearly coming away with a pick on the throw. Roby was on Green on the next play who jumped the route and nearly picked off the pass on that throw as well. On third and ten, Dalton handed off Giovani Bernard who was dragged down by Wolfe for a four-yard loss and a punt.

With just 37 seconds left in the half, the Broncos were able to get close enough for Brandon McManus to attempt a 61-yard field goal. He drilled the first kick, but the Bengals called a timeout. The second attempt is blocked.

The good news is that the Broncos finally led the game after the first quarter. The bad news is they lost the lead in the second quarter and go into half time down by a score with the Bengals getting the ball first to start the second half.
