There I was, taking a break from this week’s quarterback film study to have a couple grilled chicken breasts. Sitting down to eat, I opened Twitter on my phone for a bit of mid-meal entertainment, only to have my world rocked.
A user went where ESPN and the NFL Network fear to tread and exposed how and why Odell Beckham Jr. is the problem with the New York Giants and a cancer that needs to be excised immediately.

Okay, that was all in good fun. But it does highlight how many good non-Odell players simply weren’t (consistently) doing their jobs last year. For a variety of reasons, the Giants a talented team (until eaten alive by a swarm of injury bugs) that woefully under-performed. This thread also highlights, that while Eli Manning certainly wasn’t great in 2017, his receivers did him few favors.
