Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold to enter 2018 NFL Draft

That makes this a good day for the Giants

Rosen used social media to announce his intention, thanking UCLA fans.

Walter Football has Rosen ranked as the top quarterback in the class:

Of the top quarterback prospects for the 2018 NFL Draft, Rosen has the best mechanics and is the most natural pocket passer. He throws a tremendous ball and can really spin it. Rosen’s tight spiral helps him to get his passes through tight windows and beat good coverage. He has serious arm talent along with field vision and pocket presence. Rosen also works under center, which has been rare to see with college quarterbacks in recent years. Teams also have some concerns about his intangibles and durability.

There had been much speculation that Darnold would return to USC for one more year after an up-and-down season.

Back in November, Scott Wright of Draft Countdown told Big Blue View that Darnold was “the prize of this draft.”

Darnold has had a turnover-prone season, but many analysts still se an eventual star when they watch Darnold.
