New York Giants news, 3/17: Offseason program, Johnathan Hankins, more

Let’s check the headlines

Hankins and his team apparently consider him among the league’s best defensive tackles. Vacchiano writes that teams around the league may disagree, saying “some don’t consider him an impact player” and that “some question how good Hankins really is on his own.”

Offseason program begins April 18

The Giants will get back to work April 18 when their Offseason Program officially begins. Rookie mini-camp is set for the weekend of May 12 and the mandatory mini-camp is June 13-15.

Paul Schwartz of the New York Post points out, however, that Reese did attend Pro Days for Odell Beckham Jr. and Ereck Flowers, whom the Giants selected in Round 1, and Leonard Floyd, who was thought to be the Giants top draft target a year ago.
