The Air Jordan 7 ‘Tinker Alternate’ is the 2016 Olympic edition. Designed as an alternative for Michael Jordan to wear during his Olympic run, this new look is a what if concept if Jordan had his own player exclusives back in the day.
While the theme is the same, the 2016 edition comes with White, Metallic Gold Coin, Deep Royal Blue, Fire Red and Lite Iron Ore. Using a white base, shades of blue then hit sections on the panels which is different from what we have seen which is then followed by red accents that gradient to splatter across the midsole. Finally, metallic gold lands on the Jumpman and Air Jordan across the tongue.
Besides the original Olympic Jordan 7, we have had two different variations of the shoes. One known as ‘For the Love of the Game, which was identical with the exception of the heart shaped basketball on the side. We also had the ‘Miro Olympic’ which released back in 2008 which released in limited numbers and designed by Spanish artist Juan Miro.
