One of (if not THE BIGGEST) upsets in NBA history happened Yesterday when the 12-51 Los Angeles Lakers blew out the 55-5 Golden State Warriors 112-95. So how were they able to beat them? Maybe the Warriors took the Lakers lightly since they have the 2nd worst record in the entire league. Or maybe it was the socks!
The Lakers honored Kobe Bryant yesterday in a pretty cool way by wearing some special socks designed by Stance. The pair worn by all the players (including the Mamba himself) is known as “The Final” and was dressed in Purple, Gold, White and Black and included the number “2” on one sock and “4” on the other. There were also a few other socks created for Kobe including the “Kobe Bryant” which featured two cartoon images of Kobe wearing the 8 and 24 jerseys, and the “Kobe Faces” that featured two pictures of Kobe’s face and the “Mamba 24.”
You can still pick up select styles from either stance.com or kobebryant.com. Hurry because they won’t last.
