Under Armour just released the Curry 4 More Rings Championship Pack last week which pretty much sold out instantly. Before dropping the next White/Black colorway, they have decided to give us a look at the design process behind the Curry 4.
With a design team led by Kort Neumann, Senior Design Manager of Footwear at Under Armour, the team works closely with Stephen Curry on designing his signature footwear. In Kort’s own words, the shoe is designed and constructed with one thing in mind—to help make Stephen the best possible basketball player he can be. With unrivaled traction, step-in comfort and locked-in stability, the Curry 4 provides everything Stephen needs on-court while staying lightweight, enabling him to move as quickly and efficiently as possible. The need for continuity and a seamless feel between foot and shoe has been delivered, and the unique design aesthetic was built around the functional needs of the footwear.
The Under Armour Curry 4 in the White/Black colorway in adult sizes ($130 USD) will be available for pre-order through UA.com and select retailers beginning October 27, with an estimated delivery date beginning November 18.
Youth sizes (Grade School $100 USD/Pre-School $70 USD) will be available for purchase at UA.com, Under Armour Brand Houses and select retailers globally beginning October 27.
