As suggested, the popular low-top’s lineage is celebrated, as it receives a bold blue finish for its defining tone. Comprised of smooth suede/nubuck and synthetics for its upper, the vivid hue is subtly offset with white stitching throughout, while the clean accent is more prominent on its midsole unit and branding on the rear/side panels and tongue tab.
Additional pops of red are placed on the outsole and pull tabs to add even more vibrance to its bright makeup, as it’s all finished off with two-tone rope style laces. Retailing for $165, you can purchase a pair at select Asics retailers nationwide now.
I’m a fan of the model and while I do adore the color blue, I would’ve preferred it in a more darker finish. The patriotic-inspired palette is cool. I wouldn’t have figured it was a collab though.
