Welcome back to the latest edition of Save Your Money. If you’re new to this feature, it’s a recurring bi-weekly feature that gathers 10 of the latest releases that have one thing in common: they’re all priced at $120 or less. Buying shoes should not always (haha) leave a dent in your pockets. For every $400 dollar pack that releases, there’s hundreds of alternatives that cost a fraction of that price. Trust, you don’t need to be spending hundreds of dollars on a pair of sneakers to look fresh and this list proves just that. Reebok, Puma, adidas, Diadora, Nike and Saucony all make an appearance this time around, so there’s bound to be something for everyone, right? Peep the list and head to you nearest sneaker shop to pick up a pair.
Reebok Freestyle Color Bomb Pack
Reebok Classic and Teyana Taylor celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Freestyle Hi as the second installation of the “Free Your Style” campaign known as the “Color Bomb” Pack just dropped and it couldn’t be any more bolder. Mineral Mist and Pink Craze take care of the uppers and manage to give the classic model and modern feel.
Saucony Shadow 5000 Bricks
Saucony continues its impressive streak of release that rock one of a kind materials/prints/designs on the upper. This Brick iteration is inspired by Boston architecture as the etched brick design placed on the toe, heel tab and tongue matches up nicely with the rest of the suede upper. Whether you’re from Boston or not, this is definitely of a clean pair of Shadow 5000s.
adidas Dame 3 Legacy
One of the cleaner colorways of the adidas Dame 3, this Legacy iteration makes it easy to wear on and off the court. The gum bottom is nice, while the White and Grey upper works effortlessly. Aesthetics aside, it’s also a really good basketball sneaker.
adidas Originals Stan Smith Camo Snakeskin
This happens to be one of those Stan Smiths that look much more expensive that what they really are. This is due to the snakeskin print detailing on the White leather upper. The camo contrast is also a nice touch that will work great during the Spring season.
Diadora V7000 Weave White / Red
It’s a V7000 done in a woven construction! It made its debut last year, but had not released a new colorway for a few months, until now. It’s getting warmer and we all know knitted/woven sneakers are a great choice for the Spring/Summer since they are lighter, more breathable and comfortable than your ordinary sneaker. The color combination is great too! Don’t sleep on this pair!
Nike Air Sock Racer OG
A very unique looking sneaker thanks in large part to the slip-on construction supported by the two straps on the midfoot. The mesh upper makes it comfy and very breathable while the flexible outsole adds another level of comfort to the shoe. This drop went under the radar, but it’s definitely a head-turner.
adidas Stan Smith Boost Metallic Copper
This type adidas Stan Smith Boost kind of gives you an idea of what adidas is capable of creating with this brand new hybrid model. This particular Metallic Copper coloroway was made exclusively for the ladies, but we’re pretty sure we’re going to come across some guys rocking these. That’s how clean they are!
Saucony Shadow 5000 Crackled Leather Pack
Priced at only $120 each, why not just get both? Don’t ask me to choose between them because I can’t. The tonal suede and leather uppers paired up with the Gold hits work great together. The speckling on the midsole and the dope branding on the tongue makes you believe that these should be priced at closer to $200, but nope, just $120 each.
adidas EQT Support ADV GS Chalk White
This one’s for all the readers who rock GS-sizes. The Eqt Support Adv continues to be one of adidas best non-Boost offerings. This Chalk White and Navy pair is exclusive to GS sizes and is a great choice for the Summer. I’ma have to take an L on this pair since I can’t fit it, but if you do I suggest you pick up a pair with the quickness.
Anything From The Sesame Street x Puma Collection
Sesame Street linked up with Puma to release a very big Sesame Street x Puma collection. They have a handful of sneakers to choose from and they’re all priced at $120 or less. Whether you’re looking for an all-over print on a furry upper or a tongue rocking Elmo’s face on it, this collection has you covered.
Price: Everything is priced under $120
