The Nike Air Max 1 celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, and Air Max Day (March 26) in a big way, as the iconic sneaker is rendered in an exclusive “Master” iteration that honors its lineage.
Highlighting a number of popular styles since its inception in 1987, the silhouette is essentially treated in the brand’s popular “What The” motif, which incorporates some of the most legendary Air Max 1 designs ever released, all into one.
From the classic atmos x Air Max 1 Safari, to the original red and blue editions, Patta, Viotech colorways and more — each staple is essentially represented across its mudguard. Premium black leather comprises its majority, while a black midsole unit and versatile gum outsole caps off the respective design altogether.
Retailing for $130, you can purchase this limited edition pair at select Nike retailers starting March 25th.
