Eagles Draft Picks for Day 2 of the 2016 NFL Draft Order

Will the Eagles trade up?

The Philadelphia Eagles enter the second day of the 2016 Nfl Draft, which includes rounds two and three, with a total of only one selection. Day two of the 2016 NFL Draft begins tonight at 7:00 PM ET. The Eagles won't be on the clock until pick No. 79, which should take place around 11:59 PM ET.

Philadelphia entered the 2016 NFL Draft with seven selections. The Birds don't have a second round pick because they traded it for Sam Bradford last offseason. The Eagles were scheduled to have two picks real closer together in the third round but they traded No. 77 to the Cleveland Browns in their trade up to get to No. 2 overall.

It'll be interesting to see if the Eagles try to move up. As we often point out, Howie Roseman is very active when it comes to trades. The Birds won't be able to make a huge move due to their limited assets but perhaps they could package one of their extra fifths and/or sevenths to move up a few spots.

The Birds still have a number of positions that they need to address. Philadelphia didn't necessarily fill a short-term need with their selection of quarterback Carson Wentz. That's more of a move for the long-term. The Eagles might be looking for more immediate help at No. 79. They could look to go with a running back, an offensive lineman, a wide receiver, or maybe something else entirely.

Eagles remaining draft picks

1st (2) - Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State
3rd (79) -
5th (153) -
5th (164) -
6th (188) -
