Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho has praised the performance of 19-year old Premier League debutante Axel Tuanzebe in United’s 2-0 loss to Arsenal today.
The Englishman, who was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, made his first appearance for United coming off the bench in January’s F.A Cup clash with Wigan Atheltic. 

Tuanzebe has since sat on the bench for United in their past five Premier League matches but was given the chance to start today with Mourinho resting players for United’s all-important Europa League semi final clash with Celta Vigo on Thursday night.

The youngster started at right back and was given the daunting task of keeping tabs on Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez – a job that Mourinho believes he excelled at.

“The kid [Axel Tuanzebe] was the same. I think he did an amazing job and I think Alexis [Sanchez] knows his name because the kid played very well,” said Mourinho.
