Monaco have insisted that football’s hottest property Kylian Mbappe is not for sale this summer at any price.
Mbappe is said to be a target for Manchester United, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Barcelona but Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev says the 18-year-old is going nowhere.
United have reportedly made a failed £72m bid for the Frenchman, while other reports have suggested that they could sell for over £100m.
“Mbappe has no price,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport. “He is like a son.
“We are proud that he is already at this level with our jersey. We would like him to stay and I think he also wants that.”
There could be other exits from Monaco – with Bernardo Silva, Thomas Lemar and Fabinho among those being coveted by big European clubs.
Vasilyev said: “A couple of players will be sold, but we do not have to do it. We have never prevented anyone from going. But the player must ask us and a right offer is required.”
