Fellaini says Manchester United have two ways to qualify for Champions League

Marouane Fellaini has stressed the importance for Manchester United to earn a Champions League spot this season.

United have made improvements under Jose Mourinho during the current campaign but they still remain rooted to sixth place in the Premier League table at the moment and the Red Devils need to either become more consistent domestically or claim triumph in the Europa League to earn a berth in Europe’s elite club competition for next season.

Midfielder Fellaini knows that United have a good opportunity to qualify for the Champions League by winning the Europa League and revealed that the Red Devils are doing everything they can to ensure that the club does not miss out once again.

The Belgium midfielder said: “We have two ways to play in the Champions League and we have to do it.

“All the players, all the staff, and the club and supporters want to be in the Champions League next season, so will do everything to be there next season.

“We have the squad, we have the players, we will do everything to be there.”

United meet Russian club Rostov in the Round of 16 second leg at Old Trafford tonight following last week’s 1-1 draw.
