Wednesday Morning Dawg ‘Bites

O.K., folks. Stop pinching yourselves and get your game face on...

Yesterday was pretty brutal, but my hangover is gone and I’m back at work after a nice holiday break. I’m hoping the collective team hangover is gone as well following a long fight home and some well-deserved sleep for our Rose Bowl Champion Dawgs. This staff and players have a ton of work to do in a short amount of time. As for me, I’m still celebrating and don’t want to work (and neither do you).

These guys are killin’ it every time they do a spoof. And this one is spot on for anyone about to shell out major bucks for Monday night’s little tilt.

Well...Duh? Let’s face it: The best football is still played in the south. In a weak year for most of the SEC, the cream has once again risen. (And Ohio State still lost to Iowa.)

A real challenge will be re-focusing our team. I know I was completely drained by 9:30 after our win. Think how our players must have felt. From the sound of it, you’ve gotta believe that Kirby Smart has a plan for this as well. It’s the little things, folks (like being ready to cover a squib kick).

The title here says it all.

Todd Gurley: Forever a Bulldog.

Georgia’s number one cheerleader? Dude loves him some Dawgs!

Charlie Woerner started out as a factor in the Rose Bowl, but was injured early on. His medical status for Monday night is uncertain.

Call it a man-crush. Whatever. I love me some Sony Michel.

They say adversity kind of reveals Character. I think it exposes character, for sure. We found out we've got a pretty good character team. - Kirby Smart

The media are already trying to focus on the teacher/pupil aspect of the CFB Championship game. Nick Saban has no time for this sh*#....

Dan Lanning will be our new outside linebackers coach, replacing Knoxville-bound Kevin Sherrer. I’m hearing good things about this hire.

The Hoop Dawgs open their home SEC slate tonight vs. Ole Miss after dropping a winnable game at Kentucky. Here’s hoping for a rebound. (Get it. Rebound? Basketball. I kill myself....)

EDIT: Here’s a really cool article, courtesy of The Mothership. RTDB!

Have a great day, err’body. As Always...

GO DAWGS!
