Kudos to Blankenship for addressing this. It took a lot of guts to do so. I continue to believe that the odds are very good that Blankenship receives a scholarship this August, once the numbers are sorted out.

But he was never going to get one in January. If his dad thought that, he was wrong. If he thinks he can pressure Kirby Smart into giving his son a scholarship, I suspect he is very wrong. Nothing I know about Kirby Smart makes me think he's the kind of coach who knuckles under to pressure. Not entirely coincidentally.....
