Hey football fans the stretch run is here. There is only 3 weeks left of regular season play. Half the playoff field is set, with 2 more spots left to be determined. There is already 1 team (Houston Gamblers) has been eliminated from playoff contention. The Gamblers has one too many heartbreaks this season. They even blew a 11 point lead going into the 4th quarter last week vs. Philadelphia Stars and lost the game (6 game losing streak). The Tampa Bay Bandits have been more up and down this season than the current stock market. The Bandits at 3-4 will now need a must win to stay alive for that wild card spot. However, the New Orleans Breakers can get that wild card spot if they beat the Stallions. The New Jersey Generals have a grand opportunity to clinch the North division with a win outright vs. Pittsburgh Maulers on Friday Night. The Panthers and the Maulers are barely still alive for a wild card in the North division. Don’t forget this coming weekend the games are at historic Legion Field instead of Protective Stadium due to the Garth Brooks concert Saturday night. Here are my picks for Week 8:
