The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has confirmed that Anderson Silva and Uriah Hall will headline the main event at UFC 198 on May 14 at the Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, Brazil. Rumors are circulating prior for the official announcements for who is going to face 'The Spider' Silva next and the organization settled for Hall. Silva vs. Hall fight is going to be an spectacular and UFC hopes it can fill the stadium.

UFC 198 also features the clash of UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum against top challenger Stipe Miocic in co-main event.




Silva (33-7, 1 NC) last fight was a controversial decision loss to Michael Bisping at February's UFC London. He has lost grasp on the middleweight championship since the knockout loss to Chris Weidman in July 2013 and suffering a broken leg in the rematch in December.

Hall (12-6) has emerging success inside the octgon starting from Season 17 of The Ultimate Fighter. However, he lost a unanimous decision to Robert Whittaker in Australia in November of last year.

Other notable Brazilians also reported for the card include Demian Maia, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, and Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, as the UFC tries to fill its first soccer stadium event in Brazil.
