Thoughts for the day…

1. Greetings and salutations, people.  Thanks for coming aboard (the boat).  Under the weather, sitting here watching my Cavs at Clemson in bball, someone cleaning our house, and thought I would shout at you for a bit.  Let’s move.
2. I haven’t forgotten about the daily blog template, and perhaps I will get to it this weekend, but probably not.  Why?  Aside from football, my objective is to FINALLY update my iTunes-been listening to the same 200 songs for like two years.
3. Casual listening is not my worry.  That is easy.  Download some more Dr. Dre and Widespread Panic.  It is the workout music I need.  Given that I listen to sports radio 99% of the time, I need to catch up on my workout tunes…Korn, Linkin Park, Queensryche, Disturbed, Nonpoint, etc.
4. Clemson’s best player is Jaron Blossomgame.  Think he ever doubted he would be an athlete?  What a GREAT name.
5. I just realized Duke-Louisville is on the other channel…overload.
6. I care about HOW UVA is playing, but what I care about more is the overall score of the other team.  If a team is above a 26 point per half average, I am bothered.
7. Clemson has 32 points with 1 minute left in the first half.
8. This will be a to be continued blog, as household distractions are occurring and I will need to finish this later.  Plus, wife wants brunch.  Guess we are going to the Snug…
9. Not going to Snug.  Bought cleaner for extra hour.  Now I have to finish this before the game ends.  Moving again..
10. This game is sponsored by Hardees.  Had no idea their burgers were “grass fed, no hormones.”  How did I just learn that?  Or, did they just start doing that?  Where the HELL is a Hardees?  I don’t remember seeing one around town.  Hold on…going to look.
11. Yeah, I don’t see one.  Must be a regionally sponsored.  No Hardees in Denver.  Nice that Carl’s Jr.’s pop up though when I do the search.
12. Malcolm Mitchell will NOT play today for the Pats.  Too much of a loss.  Game over.  The end is near.  Texans win.  Lol.
13. I have “Marc Stein Butler frontcourt” written on my blog list.  No idea.
14. Wow, I personally thought Justin Thomas would drop off a bit after his 59.  No, sir.  36 hole record.  Impressive.
15. VERY nice to see the coincidental rush of minority hirings in the NFL.  Refreshing.
16. The Colts pursued Jon Gruden?  Ok.  Thanks for the info, media.  I assume EVERYONE with a coaching vacancy calls him.  Love that guy, and hopes he stays in the booth.  Here is the deal.  The hatred I have for Cris Collinsworth on Sunday night is countered and balanced by the awesomeness of Jon Gruden on Monday Night Football.
17. I have decided to possibly start calling our ridiculously fat munchkin cat “Tank.”
18. Done Stranger Things (yes, you should watch it-first season too).  Anyway, we dabbled with two more series to become addicted to last night.  Thank you, Anthony, for the LONG, DETAILED MULTI-TEXT answer last night.  Amazing info.  I might copy and paste it during my blog tomorrow so you all can read it for background for YOUR TV watching.
19. Actually, I would have to figure out how to do that from my phone first…sounds like a chore.
20. Narcos was decent.  I think the downer about it is that we already know the story from other shows and documentaries.
21. House of Cards is where it is at.  I will be transparent.  I never, ever looked up anything about the show.  I thought it was about card playing in Vegas.  House of CARDS.  Never even knew it was right up my alley with politics.  I am hooked after one episode.
22. Kevin Spacey is awesome in it.
23. Just saw the Tiki Barber Geico commercial.  Awesome.  Wahoowa.
24. Baylor might lose at K State again today.
25. If you stop your day for ONE bball game today and already missed the Duke-Louisville game, then you should watch St. Mary’s-Gonzaga tonight.  That is what I will be watching.  Two teams that can make a run in March.
26. Gonzaga is SO deep with talent.

28. I had a blast with Ross and Hoban last night at 1 Up.  I definitely lost my 80’s games chops the most of us three.  Hoban beat me AGAIN at my specialty, Gyruss, but at least my score got better.  105,560.
29. I have decided I am going to buy Ross an Uber so he doesn’t have to duck out so soon.
30. Going tomorrow to play Missile Command.
31. I will have time to do that because I called the National Weather Forecast yesterday and explained my problem of needing to be on my couch to watch the Steelers tomorrow.  They agreed to conjure up a storm, broadcast it, and therefore move the game to nighttime.  You are welcome.
32. And I don’t have to risk meeting other Steelers fans I won’t like.
33. I found out Lindsey doesn’t like songs like Keith Sweat and R. Kelly.  How is that possible? Keith Sweat was the man.
34. I am very close to throwing Blue Print’s burger up in my top five.
35. They also sell Labatt Blue for dirt cheap.
36. Saw our old friend Dan last night, who raises wolves.  Great to see him.  Pics will be tomorrow.  Or later if I decide to post this during football…which I might do.
37. Three Bama players declared for the draft.  It means those high school All Americans on the bench can finally play.
38. UVA pulling awaya little as expected…
39. Bryce Harper was signed to a one year deal for $13.625 million.  It means we have one more year until Bryce goes to the Red Sox, Dodgers, or Yankees.
40. Clemson coming back…
41. Canelo vs. Chavez should be a fun fight.  Not the one we WANT, but still a quality match.
42. Clemson has 51 points with TEN minutes left.  That is pure sloppiness, Wahoos.
43. Whoa.  This thing might have a chance at happening.  I wish I had $50 million to throw at a fight I wanted to see.  Dana White tossed in that much to see Conor and Floyd box.
44. Watched a little more of Arizona the other day.  Their front line is ridiculous.  At one point, I believe they had a frontline on the court of 6’9″, 7’0″, 7’1″.
45. Seriously, if you consider yourself an NBA fan, you NEED to read Zach Lowe’s Ten Things weekly.  Great stuff.  Not an NBA fan?  Don’t read it.  It is high level.
46. Bo Jackson says he wouldn’t have played football had he known about the head injury thing.  DOn’t say that.  Can you IMAGINE Tecmo Bowl without him?  That is just…crazy.
47. Wonder if Joey Porter has already Googled K.C. bars for after tomorrow night’s game.
48. So, the Chargers just announced who there new coach is.  Who actually cares about that by the way?  The pissed off San Diego fans?  No.  The acclimating L.A. fans?  Probably not.
49. I thought Cal football was going to go for a big name coach.  I was wrong.  Good hire getting the guy from Wisconsin though.
50. Denver fans are acting like losing Wade Phillips is no big deal.  Bigger loss than you all care to admit, y’all.  Downplay it all you want.
51. I will try and make time tomorrow to go over the Aussie draw.  I am sure you non tennis fans are excited about that.  Mark it on your calendar.
52. Seriously, the Fuego Box is awesome.  Going through these hot sauces FAST.
53. NO legal paper or pen on me for one full week now…can’t believe it took me this long to do this.
