Dream 11 IPL 2020, the 13th edition of the most loved sport is all set to commence on September 19, in the UAE. The pandemic has forced it out of India but the spirits are soaring high as this is one of the most anticipated sporting events of 2020.

Every year, IPL promises us a lot of action and breath-taking moments, and Sixes occupy the most of them. Many players like Chris Gayle, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Glenn Maxwell, David Miller, Andre Russell, AB de Villiers, Virat Kohli, etc., have made it rain sixes in IPL over the years. We believe the rain of sixes will repeat either with the same or a different player.

So, we have made a list of players that might entertain us with the Highest Number of sixes. Here it goes.

Andre Russell, the most destructive and phenomenal player in the history of IPL. He has proved his worth with his masterful batting skills. With three Man of the Match awards in the 2015 IPL, he made a mark and the rest is history. In 2018, his shocking 36-ball 88 stint including 11 sixes and 1 four was a delight to watch. Andre Russell, the batsman is as destructive as they come, but the bowler in him is valuable enough. His bowling in the 2016 IPL won him 2 Man of the Match awards.

MS Dhoni, aka Thala Dhoni, the expert strategist is also a shrewd cricketer. Dhoni made a mark with his captaincy right from the beginning and under his leadership, the team made an impressive image as invincible. There are times when Dhoni has single-handedly won CSK the match. In the 2018 IPL, after a quiet year, he was back in a better form than before and is sure to hit the highest number of sixes as he finishes off in style.

Rohit Sharma, one of the most successful captains and important players in IPL history. There is not a better love story than IPL and Rohit’s. A young talent that lacked consistency, in the beginning, experienced growth and went on to make his mark as the hitman. IPL has also unveiled Rohit’s leadership style and it’s a feast for eyes when he effortlessly makes centuries. With many IPL fifties, he promises a lot of sixes.

Virat Kohli, or as he is called King Kohli, needs no introduction. His aggression on the field and the fire with which he performs is nothing short of excellent. He has made a whopping 5412 number of runs and has delivered many breath-taking sixes. He is the highest-paid cricketer in the IPL and he deserves every bit of it.

AB de Villiers, without whom no one can imagine an IPL, is a crowd favorite. He is known as the 360-degree batsman. He finished as the leading run-getter for his franchise for 3 seasons and was a constant name in the top 3 run scorers, ever since 2011. He is one of the finest and most versatile players in the tournament.

Chris Gayle brings with him “the Gayle storm” whenever he swings his bat. His aversion to running for the ones and twos is evident. Because whenever he hits, he hits the highest. He calls himself “the Universe Boss” and pretty much lived up to it. He surely will entertain us with the sixes and of course his on-ground dance moves.
