Gertjan Verbeek the coach of Bochum accuses the Dutch player, Arjen Robben of diving after Bayern Munich’s 3-0 victory over his side.
Speaking in his interview the Gertjan Verbeek declares that the ball was played, he was looking for his leg. Gertjan is Dutch and he’s ashamed. But they know Robben is like this from the national team. He was “ashamed” of his compatriot.
The source reveals that Jan Simunek was asked to leave the ground after being adjudged to have brought down Robben, by Thomas Muller missing the subsequent penalty.
Gertjan Verbeek says that Jan Simunek played the ball and confessed the Red Card made the task of overcoming the German champions in the DFB-Pokal tie an impossible one.
Verbeek added that there was contact, but it was no foul and it was no red card. And with 10 players you can’t win against Bayern.
