Arsenal have agreed a £35m fee for Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi, according to BBC Sport.
David Ornstein, a BBC Sport journalist, has taken to Twitter to confirm that Arsenal have reached an agreement with the La Liga club for the purchase of their versatile defender.
The reporter added that Mustafi will sign a five-year deal with the north London side and is scheduled to undergo a medical at the north London club on Friday.

Arsenal have signed three players in the summer transfer window so far despite Wenger being linked with a host of different players in the summer transfer window so far.
Granit Xhaka completed a £33m move to the Emirates Stadium from Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach at the start of the summer.

Wenger has also signed Japanese forward Takuma Asano and Bolton Wanderers defender Rob Holding to his squad.
Arsenal will be aiming to record their first Premier League victory of the season when the Gunners make the short trip to Watford on Saturday afternoon.
