Mauricio Pochettino says he expects Tottenham Hotspur to announce some more summer signings in the next few weeks.
The Lilywhites have been linked with a number of players throughout the summer transfer window but the Tottenham manager has only completed two big-money deals so far.
Spurs completed a £25m deal for Southampton’s Kenya midfielder Victor Wanyama earlier this month as the former Celtic man was reunited with Pochettino following their time together at St Mary’s.
The Argentinian coach also managed to add further depth up front to ease the workload on Harry Kane after he completed a £19m deal for AZ Alkmaar and Netherlands striker Vincent Janssen.
However, Pochettino had indicated that there could be more new faces at White Hart Lane this summer after talking up the possibility of some new deals being announced next week.
“I expect some signings in the next few weeks, we will see what happens but I expect some activity,” Pochettino is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
