Patrick Kluivert is tipping Liverpool FC to win the Premier League title after their impressive 2-0 victory over Chelsea FC at Anfield on Sunday.

After a goalless first half, Sadio Mane put the Reds in front with a header, before Mohamed Salah rifled home a stunning second to make the points secure.

The result lifted Liverpool FC back to the top of the Premier League table and left them two points ahead of Manchester City with four games left to play.

Pep Guardiola’s men have played a game less than Jurgen Klopp’s side and they will retain their title if they are able to win all of their remaining five games.

However, Netherlands legend Kluivert seems to think that Sunday’s result has shifted the title race firmly in Liverpool FC’s favour.

Kluivert posted on Twitter after the final whistle on Sunday: “I see @LFC becoming this years Champions @premierleague.”

Liverpool FC – who travel to FC Porto in the Champions League quarter-finals on Wednesday night – will return to Premier League action next weekend when they travel to Cardiff in the top flight.

Meanwhile, Manchester City will host Tottenham Hotspur at The Etihad on Saturday lunchtime as they look to try and reclaim top spot ahead of Liverpool FC’s trip to Wales the next day.
