Stan Collymore believes Arsenal should consider selling Mesut Ozil.
The former Germany international was not included in Unai Emery’s squad for their 3-1 win over West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Ozil struggled to have an impact on their 2-0 loss to defending Premier League champions Manchester City and 3-2 defeat by Chelsea FC at Stamford Bridge.
The World Cup winner signed a new long-term deal with the north London side back in February after Arsenal made the German playmaker the best paid player in Arsenal’s history.
Ozil has been regularly criticised for his lacklustre performances since his £42.5m move to Arsenal from La Liga giants Real Madrid in the 2013 summer transfer window.
The former Schalke star hasn’t won the Champions League or the Premier League at Arsenal but Ozil has won three FA Cup titles during his six-season spell in north London.
Former Liverpool FC striker Collymore Believes Arsenal should look to sell Ozil following his disappointing start to life under new Gunners boss Unai Emery.
Arsenal finished in sixth spot in the Premier League table last term to miss out on a Champions League spot.
The Gunners haven’t won the Premier League title since 2003-04.
