Graeme Souness believes a successful season for Liverpool FC would be a title challenge and a trophy.

“For Man City to win, they have to finish in front of Liverpool,” Souness told Irish radio station Newstalk.
“They are the two outstanding teams. Hopefully Liverpool will stop conceding goals. It would be a success if they win a FA Cup or League Cup, reach the Champions League semi-finals or final, it would be a success.”
The Reds signed AS Monaco star Fabinho, RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita, Stoke City playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri and AS Roma’s Alisson in the summer.
Liverpool FC suffered a 3-1 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev back in May.
