Chris Sutton has praised Maurizio Sarri for a positive start to his Chelsea FC career.
The Blues finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a Champions League spot.
Chelsea FC sacked Antonio Conte following their disappointing end to the 2017-18 season.
Conte did end his two-year spell in charge of the Blues with silverware after a 1-0 win over Manchester United in the FA Cup final.
His replacement Maurizio Sarri signed Napoli star Jorginho, Real Madrid star Mateo Kovacic, Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa and veteran Rob Green.
Chelsea FC eased to a 3-0 win against Huddersfield Town in their opening Premier League fixture at John Smith’s Stadium.
Former Blues striker Sutton lavished praise on Sarri for Chelsea FC’s promising start to the new domestic season.
“Chelsea were hugely impressive,” Sutton told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“They bounced back well after being demolised by Man City. It’s a good league start for Sarri.”
Chelsea FC will compete in the Europa League this season after missing out on a top-four finish.
The Blues haven’t won the Champions League crown since 2012 when Chelsea FC beat Bayern Munich on penalties.
