Marcelo Brozovic could leave Inter Milan in the summer transfer window amid interest from several clubs, the Arsenal target’s agent has claimed.
The Gunners are being linked with a move to sign the Croatia international this summer to bolster Unai Emery’s options in the middle of the park.
Brozovic has been a key member of Inter Milan’s team since his move to the San Siro outfit from Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb in 2015.
The 25-year-old scored four goals and made nine assists in 24 starts and 10 substitute appearances in the current campaign.
The Croatia midfielder is thought to have a €50m contract release clause, although Arsenal could struggle to match that proposed fee.
Brozovic’s agent has opened the door for the Inter star to leave Milan this summer amid talk of interest from the Gunners.
“Yes, I can confirm that several great clubs follow Marcelo and they are informed, but I can not name them,” his agent is quoted as saying by Calciomercato.
“Marcelo considers Inter as a home of his own. He likes Milan and is preparing to play the Champions League, but whether or not he will remain dependent on Inter and the market.”
Arsenal signed Switzerland captain Stephan Lichtsteiner in a free transfer from Serie A giants Juventus earlier this month.
The Gunners finished in sixth spot in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a spot in the Champions League.
The north London side missed out on silverware in Arsene Wenger’s final season after a 3-0 loss to Manchester City in the League Cup final.
