Man United interested in signing 32-year-old striker – report

Manchester United are interested in a potential deal to sign Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic, according to a report in Italy.

Italian media website Calciomercato is reporting that Manchester United are interested in a deal to sign the 32-year-old Striker to bolster their attacking options.

The same article states that the Red Devils are also keeping tabs Paris Saint-Germain striker and France international Kylian Mbappe in the summer transfer window.

According to the story, the Croatia international has won three successive Serie A titles and has scored 34 goals in 127 appearances in all competitions over the past three seasons.

Manchester United allowed Zlatan Ibrahimovic to leave last season following the Swedish striker serious knee problem at the end of the 2016-17 Premier League season.

The Red Devils relied heavily on Belgium international Romelu Lukaku last term after the striker scored 16 times in 38 games in the Premier League in 2017-18.

Manchester United finished in second spot in the Premier League table last season but ended up 19 points adrift of champions Manchester City.

The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley after Eden Hazard scored the winner from the penalty spot.

Manchester United haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013.
