Ian Wright believes Liverpool FC star Mohamed Salah is worth around £100m.
The Reds signed Salah in a £39m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma in the 2017 summer transfer window.
The Egyptian forward struggled during an eight-month spell at Chelsea FC before he moved to Serie A in 2014.
Salah, though, quickly adapted to Liverpool FC’s style of play after a goal on his debut in a 3-3 draw at Watford in their Premier League opener at Vicarage Road.
The Liverpool FC star has netted 31 times in 33 games in the Premier League to equal the record tallies of Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez.
The Merseyside outfit sold Philippe Coutinho to FC Barcelona in a deal worth around £142m in the January transfer window.
Salah will come up against Serie A giants AS Roma in the Champions League semi-finals ahead of their first leg on Tuesday night.
Writing ahead of the opening leg on Merseyside in The Sun, Wright claimed that Salah has quadrupled in value over the past season.
“If there’s anyone who knows Salah’s game, it’s Roma. Or at least, I’m sure that’s what they will be thinking,” Wright said.
“Very skilful, very diminutive, very tricky… but what they won’t know is that the player in front of them now is also a lot more driven and a proper goal monster.
“The Mo Salah who Roma knew so well was a £30m footballer who helped them finish second in Serie A last season.
“But the one they will be facing tonight is a £100m superstar who could really run them ragged.”
Salah has netted 41 goals in all competitions this season and his a mere six goals short of Ian Rush’s record of 47 goals in a single campaign.
