Ian Wright believes that Antonio Conte will guide Chelsea FC to a top four finish in the Premier League this season, before leaving Stamford Bridge in the summer.
The Italian’s future has been a source of speculation in recent days after the Blues’ dramatic dip in form.
Chelsea FC were knocked out of the League Cup by Arsenal, before the Blues suffered shock back to back defeats by Bournemouth and Watford in the Premier League.
The west London side are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table as they at least chase Champions League qualification in Conte’s second campaign in charge.
It remains to be seen whether the Blues will keep the Italian manager in charge at Stamford Bridge beyond this season.
However, Arsenal legend Wright feels that Chelsea FC are likely to stick with their head coach until the end of the season before making another managerial change in the summer.
Speaking on The Debate on Sky Sports, Wright said: “I believe he will still be there until the end of the season because they have to finish in the top four whatever is happening.
“So it can’t tail off and whatever is happening now, they have to get it going again and the manager has to get his head right and stop looking so angry in press conferences and maybe channel that energy into the players to get them better.
“Simply because it is imperative that Chelsea finish in the top four.”
Conte will be hoping for his Chelsea FC team to return to winning ways in the Premier League on Monday night when they host West Bromwich Albion in front of their home fans at Stamford Bridge.
The west London side will take on FC Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League later this month.
