Alexandre Lacazette has taken to social media to welcome Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to the club after the striker signed for Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund last week.
The 28-year-old became the north London side’s second major addition in the January transfer window after he agreed to join the Gunners from the German club.
The north London side also snapped up Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Manchester United as part of the same deal which saw Alexis Sanchez head to Old Trafford.
Aubameyang will now be hoping to nail down a regular spot in the first team at Arsenal between now and the end of the season as he bids to help the Gunners try and finish in the top four.
He’ll also be available to feature when Arsenal take on Manchester City in the League Cup final at Wembley at the end of the month.
And France striker Lacazette, who himself signed for Arsenal from Lyon last summer, is clearly excited about working alongside the 28-year-old Gabon start with the Gunners.
Lacazette posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “W O R K Welcome in the Team @aubameyang97 Good to work with u bro #PEA #LACA.”
Arsenal are now preparing for their crunch Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley next weekend.
