Jose Mourinho has ordered Alexis Sanchez’s locker to be placed next to Marcus Rashford so the pair can strike up a brilliant attacking partnership for Manchester United, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that Mourinho requested that Sanchez’s locker be placed right in between Rashford and Jesse Lingard’s at Old Trafford.
Sanchez has been settling into life at Old Trafford following his much-anticipated transfer to the club from Arsenal last week.
The Chilean made his debut for the Red Devils as he helped to inspire them to a 4-0 victory over Yeovil Town in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Friday night.
Sanchez will be hoping to make a quick start to his Manchester United career as he bids to try and help them end the season on a high.
And it seems that Mourinho is keen for him to strike up a close relationship with Rashford, if the report is to be believed.
Sanchez could be set to make his first Premier League appearance for Manchester United when they travel to Tottenham Hotspur in the top flight on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils are currently second in the table and 12 points behind Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side.
