Dennis Wise has likened Eden Hazard to Chelsea FC legend Gianfranco Zola.
The Belgium international has established himself as one of Chelsea FC’s best players over the past six seasons.
Hazard has won two Premier League titles during the last three seasons at the west London side.
The 26-year-old scored 14 times in Chelsea FC’s title-winning campaign in 2014-15 under Jose Mourinho.
Indeed, the Chelsea FC number 10’s performances earned him the 2014-15 PFA player of the year award.
Hazard was instrumental in their 2016-17 title success after netting 16 times in the Premier League last term.
Former Chelsea FC captain Wise likened Hazard to one of his old team-mates Zola, who ranks as one of their best-ever players.
“Hazard is similar to Franco. Franco’s movement was so clever,” Wise told Sky Sports. “His technical ability was frightening.”
Chelsea FC won the Premier League title with two games to spare last season after finishing seven points clear of Tottenham Hotspur.
The Blues are in third place in the table and 15 points adrift of runaway leaders Manchester City.
The west London side signed England international Ross Barkley in a £15m deal from Everton in the summer transfer window.
Chelsea FC were 3-0 winners against Newcastle United in the FA Cup fourth round at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
