Arsenal and Chelsea both want to sign Watford forward Richarlison in the summer transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the two London clubs could be set to go head to head in the race to sign the 20-year-old Brazilian attacker, who has been in top form for Watford this season.
Richarlison has scored five goals and made four assists in 23 Premier League games for Watford so far this season and has been impressive during his first few months in the English top flight.
Both Arsenal and Chelsea are likely to be on the lookout for significant reinforcements in the summer transfer window, with both Premier League sides seemingly set to miss out on the title.
Chelsea’s struggles in front of goal in recent weeks have been well documented, with the Blues having been held to their third successive goalless draw in all competitions on Saturday by Leicester.
Meanwhile, it has been a miserable start to 2018 for Arsenal, with the Gunners currently eight points off the top four after their 2-1 loss to Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.
