Thierry Henry has admitted that he is “concerned” about Liverpool’s recent stuttering form after their goalless draw with Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Reds were unable to break down a stubborn Southampton side as they were forced to settle for a point at Anfield.
James Milner missed a second-half penalty as the Reds failed to secure victory and handed Manchester United the chance to catch them in the race for a top-four finish.
And Arsenal legend Henry admits that he has been concerned by Liverpool’s stutters in recent weeks after dropping points at home to both Bournemouth and Crystal Palace before Sunday’s game.
“What I’m concerned about with Liverpool is that they lost 21 points against teams from the bottom half of the league,” Henry said on Sky Sports after the game.
“Whenever a team wants to play against them, they look good. But every time they have to play a team they had to open up, they struggled.
“It is a concern, because now teams know that and are maybe going to do that even more.”
